Decent, clean stay nearish Osaka station
The overall value was pretty good. The hotel is only about 15 minutes walking from Osaka station and there are a lot of good restaurants within walking distance. The staff was extremely helpful and did their best to find us answers despite the language barrier.
Like most business hotels in Japan, the room was quite small. We knew this would be the case when booking the hotel, but still, it’s not ideal. There is very little walking room around the beds if you have large luggage. We only had backpacks and still found things a bit crowded.

Best hotel on my trip!
We really enjoyed our stay at Umedaholic Hotel! It has a youngish, hip vibe and the rooms are nicely done up. Really loved the fact that they provided everything we needed, e.g. easy access to laundry, easily available amenities (loved the little touches like providing mouthwash and face masks), and even some really yummy snacks and drinks at the lobby. Staff were also very helpful and friendly; they remembered my request for a quiet room (in fact it seems in general it's a good location as we didn't get any noise whatsoever), and also were helpful with my questions.

loved
the room and bed were super comfy. the shower and bathtub were exceptional! The best shower pressure we had on our holiday - and loved the complimentary face masks/skin care/ and bathtub products.
we arrived at around 9am after a very uncomfortable overnight flight and they wouldnt let us check in early (unless we paid 1100 yen/hr) - so we slept in the lobby room until check in time (lobby chairs were very comfortable to sleep in haha and water/coffee/juice were available for free as well)
